President Nana Akuffo Addo was born and raised in central Accra precisely in Nima.
Currently, he is married to Rebecca Akuffo Addo with whom he has 5 children. All girls.
His father was the third chief justice of Ghana and later become the country’s ceremonial president during the 1970s.
Three of the members of the big six were his relatives.
He had his primary school education at the Government boys school in Adabraka.
He proceeded to London to study for his O-Level and A-Level exams at Lancing college in Sussex.
He taught in Accra Secondary school after his return to Ghana in 1962.
He then proceeded to read economics at the university of Ghana, Legon in the year 1964.
