Emotional allowance: Nurses and Midwives deserves because of what


Latest News on Jhuxtelloitech.com , According to the Ghana Registered Nurses' and Midwives' Association (GRNMA), nurses and midwives face a variety of stress and emotional issues in their jobs, therefore some workers need emotional allowances.

Mrs. Perpetual Ofori-Ampofo, the Association's President, made the revelations in an exclusive interview with 3FM's Sunrise on Thursday, hosted by Alfred Ocansey.

Every year on May 12th, nurses all across the world are honored. "A Voice to Lead—Invest in Nursing and Respect Rights to Secure Global Health" is the theme for this year's event.

"Considering the types of things we go through in our duties, we may be entitled to emotional allowance," the President added.

The Ghana Registered Nurses' and Midwives' Association (GRNMA) said it will also advocate for "Emotional Allowance."

"And the kind of stress that we go through, I think we deserve such tolerance," Mrs. Ofori-Ampofo added.

"Perhaps we'll table it for discussion at our next negotiation table," she continued.
