Candidate Requirements For Ghana Armed Forces Recruitment 2022/2023
The candidate must:
•Be a naturalized Ghanaian citizen.
•Have a good reputation.
•By January 6, 2023, Regular Commission applicants must be 18 years old and Short Service Commission applicants must be 18 years old and 26 years old.
•Must meet Ghana Armed Forces medical standards.
•Do not be bound
•Do not get married (for Regular Officer Candidates only).
•Men must be 1.68m (5'6′′) tall and women must be 160m (5' 4′′) tall.
For Military Police Only, male applicants must be 1.75m (5'9") and female applicants must be 1.70m (5'7").
The Following Are Required;
Six credit passes in BECE, comprising English Language and Mathematics.
Six credit passes in WASSCE, including Core English, Core Maths, and Science OR six credit passes in SSSCE, including Core mathematics and Core English (not less than D).
GCE O & A LEVEL-five credits (not less than 6) in GCE O Level, including English and Mathematics, and not less than D in three subjects and the GCE A Level General Paper.
Applicants should be aware that, in addition to the aforementioned general eligibility, they must have a bachelor's degree certificate from a recognized university or institution in the category for which they are seeking. The categories can be found HERE.
