2022/2023 WAEC WASSCE Registration Guidelines

Entry periods and processes are frequently advertised in national newspapers by the WAEC. For the WASSCE, for example, the Council holds two tests each year, the first for school applicants in May/June and the second for private candidates in October/November.

The May/June WASSCE and the November/December WASSCE are both registered for online (online). The May/June exam is for school candidates, and the schools submitting applicants handle all admittance processes.

The private candidates' examination is conducted on an individual basis. The admission scratch card enables a potential candidate to complete the entry form on the Council's registration website, ghana.waecdirect.org.

The identification photo card, which contains crucial information about the candidate's centre name, location, number, and subjects entered for, is then printed from the website by a registered candidate. On the website, prospective applicants can also find the examination schedule and topic syllabuses.

It's worth noting that after paying the required money to the accredited selling agency, a prospective candidate receives two scratch cards: one for online registration and the other for online result checking.
