WAEC has announced a new date for the BECE 2022 examination. Here is the most recent information about the new date for school candidates to take the Basic Education Certificate Examination in 2022.
The West African Examination Council, WAEC, has announced a new date for the BECE 2022 examination for Ghanaian school students.
The 2022 BECE will be written in October, according to WAEC.
However, Registration for the Examination will start on 3rd May 2022.
Registration for both BECE School candidates and Private candidates has been synchronized. Thus both will run concurrently
Registration for School candidates is supervised by Ghana Education Service whilst those of the Private are handled by authorized internet cafes.
The same questions will be asked of both school and private candidates.
Candidates’ names should not exceed 40 characters. (TheCandidates’hnamesndidate together with intervening spaces should not exceed 40 characters)
Candidates with unique assessment needs who require access arrangements should submit their information to WAEC by June 14, 2022. Medical reports outlining the precise diagnosed aid requested should be attached to such requests. In addition, the head of school should prepare a detailed report to back it up.
Capturing of Continuous Assessment scores and subsequent uploading will be done in June and School Selection in July.
Please note that it is against the rules and regulations of the examination to register students who are in the first or second year of the Junior High School and those who are not bona students of your school.
